The truth is, health care is not as expensive as everyone thinks. Unfortunately, a typical medical practice needs a staff of 4 to 5 people to support and process insurance coding, billing and collecting, not to mention changing patient insurance circumstances and follow-up filling. These associated costs increase the overhead of every medical practice but doesn’t do anything to improve anyone’s health.
PeakMed is an innovative Direct Primary Care medical practice, with several Health Centers serving Denver and Colorado Springs. For a flat-rate membership (think “health club”), individuals, families and business members get unlimited access to quality health care services.
PeakMed LifeCenters have pharmacies on-site, and prescriptions can be filled the day of your doctor visit. No more having to make another stop at your drug store after your appointment.
Starting in 2014 the Affordable Care Act requires everyone to have health insurance or pay a penalty – we strongly recommend that you purchase health insurance to cover services not covered at PeakMed Direct Primary Care.
