PeakMed: Next Event Announces House Call Service, Salutes Partners, Members and Staff

Thank you to everyone who turned out for our PeakMed: Next event in Colorado Springs recently. With more than 100 attendees, we were able to socialize with our members, staff and partners as well as recognize them for helping us get to where we are today. We also had time to discuss big news that is coming for the company.

Thank you to everyone who turned out for our PeakMed: Next event in Colorado Springs recently. TOP OF THE PEAK AWARDS

We kicked off the night by handing out our Top of the Peak Awards to the people and organizations that have helped us get to where we are today.

We awarded the PeakMed Champion award to Greg Greenwood of Blackstone Entrepreneurs Network. The award was accepted by Jacob Lozow. Greenwood was instrumental  in PeakMed’s inclusion in the 2017 Colorado Companies to Watch.

The Crusader Award went to Jill Webb of CB Insurance. She took a meeting with our founder, Dr. Mark, and helped him get PeakMed started with our first clinic.

The Pulse Award went to Eric Hetzel, D.O. who loved our concept so much, he moved his family across the country to practice out of our first clinic in Colorado Springs.

Heidi Cottle of NFP received our Spearhead Award. Cottle and NFP have been a key contributor PeakMed’s growth by introducing several employer groups to the direct primary care model and helping them combine PeakMed into their group health plans.

And Goodwill Industrial Services Corporation for Discover Good Health received the Outreach Award.  Gary Smith accepted the award for the great work that is being done out of our mobile clinic that this organization sponsors. Together, we reach hundreds of people in need of medical care right in Colorado Springs, with this mobile unit.

TECHNOLOGY AT PEAKMED

After the awards, we talked about how technology is playing an increasing role at our offices. We announced a partnership with CirrusMD where doctors and members will be able to use HIPAA-compliant, secure communications to reach their doctors 24/7. Texting, phone calls, emails and even video chat opportunities will be available to our patients. The technology will roll out to all clinics in the fall.

MAKING HOUSE CALLS

And the final announcement was a big one and very cool to watch. During our event, we drove one of the PeakMed-wrapped Mini Coopers into the venue. The cars will help doctors do house calls in both Denver and Colorado Springs. In-home visits will be covered by members’ regular monthly fee.

The next year is one of growth and opportunity for PeakMed. We are thankful for all of the support from the community so we can continue to be a leader, showing everyone what real health care is all about.
